Miss Bethan began her training aged 3 at a local dance school and then at the age of 11 auditioned for a place at Elmhurst School for Dance. She trained here until the age of 19 when she joined The Slovak National Ballet Company as a professional ballet dancer. During her 8 years with the company Bethan performed a in a wide number of famous classical and contemporary ballets both in the corps de ballet and soloist roles. Following her professional dance career Bethan trained as a teacher with The Royal Academy of Dance.
Bethan has taught at a variety of schools in the UK teaching both classes, associate programmes and workshops. She moved to China in 2017 to teach at the Sufei ballet and music academy in Shenzhen. This provided her with experience in teaching different cultures and diverse students. Returning to the UK in August 2018 Bethan worked for Staffordshire Scholars Associate Program and set up B Ballet Studios in Brancaster, Norfolk and Belper, Derbyshire.
